GoMethod Event Setup

Setting up events in GoMethod so they sync with Ministry Platform



When setting up an event in GoMethod, you’ll need to fill in information so that the event & trip payments will get entered into Ministry Platform (our main database)


1. From GoMethod, click the button to create a new event:



2. Enter all the event details specific to the trip


3. At the bottom of the page is a section titled “Ministry Platform Event Options”



4. Fill in the following information:

    a.  Event Type: Mission Trip

    b.  Congregation: Church-wide

    c.  Event Program: Country name of trip (i.e. Kenya)

    d.  Participant Program: Country name of trip (same as Event Program)

    e.  Check the box to “Attach the Newly created pledge campaign to the donation program?”
