1. Replacing Labels:

  2. When replacing the labels ensure they are over instead of under
  3. Pull the labels to the top edge of the roll and close the lid of the printer after.
  4. There should be a Yellow Pause and Green Status Button lit on the top of the printer.
  5. After pressing the Pause Button, it should print one blank tag
  6. To get the blank tag cleared:
    1. Print the Gadget Family
    2. Let a Family Check In and disregard the blank tag

2. Light Meanings:

    a) Status light steady green (other lights steady yellow for 2 seconds during printer power-up). The printer is ready.

    b) Network light steady red. An Ethernet error condition exists. The printer is not connected to your network.

     c) Status light steady red PAUSE light steady yellow. The printhead is open. The printer needs attention and cannot continue without user intervention.

          


3) Jamming:

    1. Unscrew the two black screw from the bottom of the cutter as displayed in the picture
    2. Once the cutter is off make sure there isn’t anything under the roller. Look at the pictures below on how to take the roller out.



4) Calibration Media

  1. Blank Tags – 
    1. If blank tags are printing in between the family tags calibrating the tags should fix the issues.
    2. Go to settings on the computer and search for “Printers & Scanners” 
    3. Choose the Zebra Printer and click “Printing Preferences” 
    4. Click on “Maintenance” and click “Calibrate” 
    5. Once the calibration there will be two blank tags.   
    6. Close out of the Settings and Printing Preferences window.
    7. Open back up the Students or Kids check-in screen. 
    8. Ways to get the blank tags out of printer:
      1. Print the Gadget Family
      2. Let a family check in and disregard the blank tags
