Check in Kiosk Setup & Login Guide

This guide provides standardized instructions for Campus check-in kiosks.

1. Device Setup

  • Network Connection: Ensure the tablet or workstation is connected to the Wi-Fi network. 

  • Hardware Check: Verify that the Computer & Zebra label printer is plugged into power and connected to the kiosk device (via USB or network).

  • Power On: Ensure the device is awake and the browser is open to the desktop/home screen.

2. Login Procedures

  1. Navigate to the desktop link for either Student or Kids check in portal. 

  2. Select the appropriate Check-In Station from the menu.

  3. If prompted for password, user is: checkin,  password is: cr0ssp27

  4. Ensure the station is in "Kiosk Mode" by pressing F11 to prevent accidental navigation away from the check-in screen.


3. Basic troubleshooting 

  1. Test checkin kiosk using a Gadget family member. If check in tag does not print, check to make sure:

  • Printer has tags

  • Printer is not jammed

  • Printer power is on

  1. If all those things are good, restart the computer and reload from beginning set up steps
